Installing

macOS
  1. Download BioCartoon-macOS.dmg.
  2. Open BioCartoon-macOS.dmg and drag BioCartoon into Applications.
  3. Open BioCartoon from Applications. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other app.
Windows
  1. Download BioCartoon-Windows-setup.exe.
  2. If your browser warns that "BioCartoon-Windows-setup.exe isn't commonly downloaded", click the three dots → Keep → dropdown arrow → Keep anyway.
  3. Open BioCartoon-Windows-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install. It installs for your user account, so you don't need admin rights.
  4. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway.
  5. Open BioCartoon from the Start menu.
Linux

AppImage

  1. Download BioCartoon-Linux-x86_64.AppImage.
  2. Make it executable with chmod +x BioCartoon-Linux-x86_64.AppImage.
  3. Open BioCartoon-Linux-x86_64.AppImage.

.deb (Debian, Ubuntu)

  1. Download BioCartoon-Linux-amd64.deb.
  2. Install it with sudo apt install ./BioCartoon-Linux-amd64.deb.
  3. Open BioCartoon from your applications menu.
